Rohit Bose Roy has been a part of the Indian film and TV industry for more than 25 years now. In this span, he has been a part of various projects covering all mediums. He has done films like Shootout At Lokhandwala, Fashion and the most recent John Abraham and Emran Hashmi-starrer Mumbai Saga, while also doing TV shows like Swabhimaan, Kkusum and Sanjivani. He also made his web show debut with Memories.
Last year, the actor got into limelight for his impressive physical transformation and now he is trying to explore different avenues. He used the lockdown to lock in on some scripts and now, in an exclusive conversation with Spotboye.com, Rohit assures that next year, he will come out as a film director. “2022 will see me as a director. I have been saying this for the past three years, but please discount the last two because of Covid, as I couldn’t do anything then. But 2022 will definitely see me directing a film,” he promises. While he won’t divulge details about the film, he shares details of another project which will come out on OTT, that will see him turn producer too. “I am also working on a production for an OTT platform, which stars the two very massively good looking Ronit Bose Roy and Rohit Bose Roy. It will mark the coming together of us brothers for the fist time on OTT. It’s a very interesting space, and we are playing brothers in the show too, but at the opposite sides of the spectrum. I can’t divulge much, but it would be the show to watch out for in 2022 and I am directing and producing that show,” Rohit concludes.
